The Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Samuel Uche, has named those behind the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra

The Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Samuel Uche, has named those behind the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra
- Uche said those championing for the agitation were being sponsored by politicians looking for political power.
- The prelate also warned that politicians who kill people in order to occupy certain positions will not enjoy the office
Samuel Uche, the Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, has condemned the agitation for the break-up of the country.
NAIJ.com gathered that Uche while speaking during a thanksgiving service organised by the managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Nsima Ekere said that those championing that the Igbo must leave a section of the country or that Biafra must be were being sponsored by politicians looking for political power.

He said: “Any politician who sponsor people to kill others so that they can enter political office, they will never enjoy that office.”
“I pray that Biafra and all those agitations will crumble in 2019 I am not PDP, APC or APGA. I am for every Nigerian. Nigerians will reject bad leaders in 2019”.
Uche attacked the nation’s politicians as being greedy lots.
In a previous report by NAIJ.com Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, a former chief security officer to the late head of state, General Sani Abacha, has said some persons backing Nnamdi Kanu are creating tension in the country.
He said some persons were backing the agitation by pro-Biafra groups to promote themselves.
The retired army officer said though the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Kanu, may not have intended to create tension in the country, but that those behind him were investing in the tension to divide Nigeria as a nation.
