Black Cats eye McCormack
Sunderland are considering a bid for Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack, reports the Chronicle.
Villa are ready to let McCormack go this summer, with Simon Grayson keen on a reunion with the ex-Leeds striker.
McCormack spent the second half of last season at Forest after falling out with Villa boss Steve Bruce.
Sunderland splashed out on James Vaughan this week but Grayson wants reinforcements after losing Jermain Defoe.
